January – Time off is for wimps!  Robin continuously mumbled that phrase as she begrudgingly packed up her laptop and once again set off to Starbucks. Armed with a power cord and an idea that's been in the back of her head for several years, she began to write again. The story is unfolding... Will it be a play? A short film? It's too soon to tell! Be sure to check back for progress reports. And of course, feel free to send creative vibes Robin's way!

December – Happy holidays to one and all. In the spirit of the holidays, the staffers here at NKP will be drinking a lot and sleeping around. See you in the new year.

October – Robin lands some roles. She's not a doctor, but she plays one in an independent feature. That's right, Robin will be playing Dr. Fisher in an independent film called, "The Immeasurable Distance Between the Apple and the Tree." Check out Cedar Heart Productions website for more info on the project. http://www.cedarheartpictures.com. Oh, and we can't forget that Robin also landed the complex and gut wrenching role of "Mother" in a Hunter College film entitled "The Suitcase." No Kneecap will be posting the film in the clips section soon!

July – If you build it, they will come. Well, we didn't exactly build it, but Robin wrote it and some talented actors rehearsed it, and then the people came. That's right - we sold out three quarters of our MITF dates and got some nice reviews to boot! Check out

May – “Love, Punky” accepted into the Midtown International Theatre Festival (MITF).
The lovely people of the MITF like us, they really like us. In fact, they like us so much that they want us to be a part of their 7th annual festival taking place in the heart of Manhattan between July 17th and August 6th. We will be posting more details as we get them, so check back with us very soon. In the meantime, if you want to learn more about the festival, kindly visit their site at http://www.midtownfestival.org. Let the rehearsals begin!

April – New podcast night for Robin. Thursday is out; Sunday is in, as Robin feverishly chats about all things “Sopranos” every Sunday Night. What does that mean for you? It means that you can stream Robin’s podcast (that sounds dirty) every Monday morning using this handy, dandy new link www.bestweekever.tv or you can sign up for the VH1 podcast subscription on iTunes. You should check it out. Seriously, it could change your life.

March – Let the rewrites begin! Like any smart writer, Robin took a moment to replenish that illusive creative source deep within. After a series of long evenings involving friends, fun and frozen, frothy beverages, Robin was ready to write again. No longer hungover, Robin once again began popping up at her neighborhood Starbucks, laptop in hand, attempting to fine-tune the “Love, Punky” script. Now, I don’t know about you guys, but the staff here at No Kneecap can’t wait to see what comes from “The Starbucks Sessions.”

February – Robin lands a gig on Vh1. You heard it right, Robin is now a weekly snark-mentator* on Vh1’s “Best Night Ever” podcasts. You can catch her online every Friday morning rambling on about everything good that happened on Thursday night TV. How do you watch these weekly sessions you ask? Well, you find your way thru the “Best Week Ever” section on the VH1 website www.vh1.com or you can download Robin on iTunes by subscribing to the Vh1 Best Week Ever Podcast.

*Snark-mentator – A combination word derived from snarky and commentator. Used in a sentence: The snark-mentator hurled witty, yet useless observations at her listeners.

January – HOLY CRAP WE GOT A GRANT! The powers that be from MTV, impressed by the script and the November reading of “Love, Punky” have given Robin a grant to continue work on “Love, Punky.” Color us excited.

December – Happy Holidays People!
Robin and the ginormous staff here at No Kneecap Productions want to wish you the very happiest of holidays! We hope it’s months before you realize you’ve broken all of your resolutions.

November – “Love, Punky” goes live. With a standing room only crowd, “Love, Punky” officially transitioned from words on a page to a real live play. And the feedback we received said “Love, Punky” did not disappoint. Stand by for more details on the next run.

September – “Love, Punky” sells out! In five hours, we sold all the seats for our upcoming run in November. Who knew we had it in us? And who knew that you were so on top of your game, buying tickets right as they went on sale, I’m so proud of you. For those of you who slacked off and forgot to order tickets: hang in there, have a drink and try not to cry - you’ll pull thru this. After all, let’s face it, there will be more chances to see this show.

September- “Love, Punky” staged reading set! That’s right people, the contract is signed, the check is in the mail, the ship has sailed. What I’m trying to say is that we have dates for a staged reading of Robin’s new play entitled “Love, Punky.” Now, if you’re thinking November 8th and 9th at the Blue Heron Arts Center, well then you’re psychic and you should be out there solving crimes with the folks on “Medium” or “NYPD blue.” But, this isn’t about you, this is about the show. Come check it out. Tickets are available online using this link: http://www.nokneecap.com/tix.html Use the link, buy the tickets, you know you want to.

August - Robin wrote a new play! After months of toiling away, or rather sitting in Starbucks and staring at her laptop, Robin has finished her latest show. “Love, Punky” is a four person, full length play that is best described as what you get when you mix “Malcolm in the Middle” with Ernest & Julio Gallo; a darkly comic, universal tale of a mother and daughter struggling with family, forgiveness and love.

June – We have a news section! That’s right folks, we’re all grown up and professional now. What does that mean to you? It means that you can check here for the latest, greatest and most updated - look, I’m a poet and I don’t even know it - info about Robin Hopkins and No Kneecap Productions. I mean wow, I’m proud.
